Un Cuento de Navidad, el señor Scrooge sube a escena en Teatro Tepeyac, en Ciudad de México. Scrooge, un hombre, insensible y solitario, consumido por el apego a las riquezas, será visitado por tres espíritus que le mostrarán la realidad de las navidades pasadas, presentes y futuras. Incrédulo al principio, Scrooge se dará cuenta de lo miserable que ha sido su existencia y el desolado porvenir que le espera, por lo que decide cambiar.
