Vaslav emerge entre lentejuelas y humo del legendario cabaret Madame Arthur, cuna del drag francés como una criatura quimérica que llega al Festival Internacional Cervantino para transformar el escenario en un territorio de fantasía, música y provocación. Armada de un gorro de marinero, un vestido azabache de diva y una presencia suspendida entre la ironía y el hechizo, Vaslav aparece bajo las luces del escenario. Acompañada por la vibración hipnótica de la shruti box, instrumento originario de la India ligado a prácticas meditativas, construye un cabaret íntimo y desbordado donde cada canción deviene relato, confesión o fantasía. Con delicadeza, exceso y humor, este espectáculo desarma las fronteras de la identidad y juega con las máscaras del género. Bajo la piel de este "artista drag inspirado en Genet", Normand revive el ecos del poeta y dramaturgo francés que hizo de la marginalidad, el deseo y la belleza prohibida un territorio de libertad.
