Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
This policy applies to every NoTeLimites user: organizers, attendees, group members, etc. The spirit of NoTeLimites is to connect people with real experiences in their city. What is prohibited is whatever breaks that spirit.
Prohibited content
- Events, groups or posts that promote illegal activities (illicit drugs, human trafficking, unauthorized weapons, etc.)
- Sexually explicit content or content involving minors in any sexual way
- Hate speech, racism, sexism, LGBTphobia, xenophobia, ableism
- Spam, scams, pyramid schemes, MLM disguised as an event
- Ticket resale above the original price without the organizer's authorization (scalping)
- Impersonation (passing yourself off as another person, organization or brand)
- Ghost events: selling tickets to events that do not exist or will never take place
- Phishing or attempts to obtain other users' data/credentials
- Malware, malicious scripts, DDoS attacks against the platform
Prohibited conduct
- Creating multiple accounts to evade suspensions
- Buying tickets in an automated way (bots) for resale
- Manipulating ratings or reviews (false boosting or degrading)
- Harassing, bullying or intimidating other users
- Sharing your organizer account credentials with third parties
- Mass scraping of platform data
- Circumventing the platform's security or moderation measures
Events with special requirements
Some types of events require complying with additional rules:
- Events with alcohol: you must have a municipal license to sell alcoholic beverages. Verification is your responsibility.
- Large events (+500 people): municipal civil protection permits · civil liability insurance recommended.
- Events with food: COFEPRIS (the Mexican health regulator) / municipal health authority.
- Events for minors: parent/guardian consent · responsible adults present.
- Sports / adventure events: signed liability waivers · insurance recommended.
How we enforce this policy
We have 3 layers of moderation:
- AI moderation: we automatically review every public event when it is published
- Community reports: any user can report suspicious content
- Human review: our team reviews reports and borderline cases within a maximum of 24 hrs
Consequences of violating the AUP
- First minor offense: warning · removal of the specific content
- Major offense or repeat offense: temporary account suspension (7-30 days)
- Fraud, sexual content involving minors, illegal activities: permanent ban + report to the authorities
- Pending Stripe payouts: processed according to Stripe Connect policy (they may be withheld for refunds or fines)

If you find something that violates this policy:

We process reports within a maximum of 24 hrs. Anonymous reports are OK.
Appeals
If your account or content was suspended and you believe it was a mistake, you can appeal at apelaciones@notelimites.com. We respond within 5 business days.
